Much Ado About Nothing Ending

In the final Act of Much Ado About Nothing, we see a happy ending where Hero and Claudio get married and Benedick and Beatrice fall in love with one another. We also see Don John the bastard get captured from where ever he was hiding. Did you like this ending? If not what would you change about it?

I did like the ending and i thoguht it was the best fit for this play. since it was a comedy the marriges at the end of the plays fit very well. i would not have changed anything about the ending of this play. I enjoyed reading this play in class.

THe ending was good. It was a good fit. But I expected there to be a fight a duel of somesort Don John the bastard and his men fight against Don Pedro, Claudio and Benedicts Army.

The ending was ok but I think that they could have done another short scene were they questioned Don John and given him his punishment. But over all the ending was good and I also think that they could have shown Benedick and Beatrice getting married.

I did like the way the play ended, but we are left with a few loose ends which can sometimes be a dissapointment. I would have liked to know what happened to Don John, and seen the wedding of the two couples. Even though I felt like there could have been a bit more information in the ending I still enjoyed it and it works for the conclusion of the book.

Yes, I do like this ending. I like endings where everyone who is good is happy at the end, and everyone who is bad pays the price. The only thing I would change about this play would be having more of Dogberry in it. I thought he was a funny character who I liked. We also didn't see enough bro-sliding form FRIAR FRANCIS.

i didn't like the entire play, to be honest. I thought that the ending seemed to good to be true, and pretty unrealistic. But, for this type of story(sappy, romantic, etc.) the ending fits.

I liked the ending of this story a lot actually. I think that it all comes together in the last act of this play. I was surprised and I really liked how they brought Hero back into the play even thought she was announced dead to everyone in the town. I think that it was funny that Beatrice and Benedick got trapped in a corner and finally admitted the dreadful lies about not loving each other. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I didn’t see what Benedick punishment for Don John was I thought that would have been interesting to see also.

Yes, i like this ending because everyone was satisfied about what they wanted throughout the story. Also, the characters was happy in ways that other people wasnt suffering.

Personally, I didn’t really enjoy this piece of literature. Sure, it was a comedy, but I didn’t really find the jokes hilarious. I was more into the other books like Dante Inferno and the Kite Runner, but for some reason this book didn’t really strike me positively.

I felt the ending wasn't bad because you knew it was sort of coming. Hero's father said he had another niece to marry which seemed a bit weird. But after you realized that the story had to end in marriage you knew they would get married.

I thought that the ending was to good to be true. I kinda knew that hero wasnt dead and that they were playing a trick on Claudio. It seemed weird that Hero's father told Claudio to marry his other niece.

I liked the ending because it wrapped up everyones problems. I mean its kind of a typical happy ending but it was the best way to end the play.

i felt that the ending was perfect. everything that should of happened did. At first i thought that don john was going to get away with fakng the death of hero but in the end hero and claudio got married. And beatrice and benedick fell in love. But overall i didnt like the play am not big on love stories that end up this way. there needs to be more fighting.

I liked the ending because it really showed drama and since Shakespeare wrote it, it was a while ago so it was probably the first of its kind. I wouldnt have changed the ending because it was a nice fit for Claudio and Hero to get married and basically getting Beatrice and Benedick to admit they love each other and imply that they are going to get married later on.

I thought the ending was good. I do wish that the story would of went farther into both weddings and what eventually happened to Don John. Over all i think it was a good ending.

I thought the ending was very fitting to the story. It was nice to see Claudio and Hero get back together; Benedick and Beatrice propose to get married, and Don John finally get his just punishment. This was probably the best ending to any of the stories we have read this year.

The ending was a prefect fit for the play. This was supposed to be a comedy for that age. People fall in love at the end. That is exactly what happened. So you can not say it was a bad ending for the play.

Yes, I do like the ending because every book has a happy ending but the ending fits right into all of the commotion.

I thought that it was a very good ending. I feel that it was good because the villian who trys to destroy things the whole play gets caught and Don Pedro, Claudio, and Benedick all live happily.

In my opinion, I think that this ending fit the story well. The entire story was supposed to be a comedy so it had to end with a wedding. This one just happened to end with two. It was kind of obvious that Benedict and Beatrice would get together in the end. So, yes, I did like the ending.

I did not mind the ending of that play. I somewhat enjoyed the happy chesey ending. I mean i like a good and happy ending but this one was just too happy for me. If all of that stuff happend in my life in that short amount of time i would be pissed and not dancing around and having a good time. I would have liked to see some unhappiness but there wasnt, just all happy.

The ending was ok everyone came out happy and found their loved ones but I just thought that someone would really be hurt after all the drama instead of an happy ending. A hapy ending is always good

Yes I did like the ending although it kind of seemed obvious what was going to happen before the it did. Also, the ending was kind of funny because of how Benedick and Beatrice were trying to hide their love for each other but were ultimately found out by Claudio and Hero.

I thought the ending of the book was good. It would have been better if Don John would have got away though.

The ending fit the story well. I would have liked to see Don John escape and seek revenge that could be sought after in a sequel maybe.

I liked the ending a lot because I felt like it tied everything together. It didn't leave anyone still wondering what happened to any of the characters which is the kind of ending I like the best in a book - one with closure. The only thing that could have made it a better ending, I think, was if they showed us what was going to happen to Don John after he was captured. I would have liked to know his punishment since the entire play I wanted him to get captured so badly and he finally did.

i like the way this story ended because the good people won their way.i was happy that the bastard was locked up because he was so evil. i dont understand how a person could have so much hate in their heart but now the bastard has time to think about why he did those things

The ending was ok, nothing to great. It did fit the story though, and explained everything.

I do like this ending in some regards. I like it in the sense that it was a nice ending but i dislike it in the sense that it was expected to happen.
